My Notes for Radical Living
Let things happen. Stay calm. Stay grounded. Not everything requires your control.
Be grateful for what you have. Be present. Carpe diem.
Trust that things happen for a reason. Trust that what unfolds is shaping you for your best self, even when it doesn’t seem that way.
Forgive others for their ignorance, and forgive yourself for your fragility – both are part of being human.
Life is short, yet long enough to rest, to pause, to begin again – without guilt.
When you are tired, stop.
When you are ready, move forward – quietly, steadily, step by step, however small. Progress counts, even when it whispers.
You are your own backbone. You are stronger and more capable than you remember on difficult days.
You are the priority. Your world exists because you exist – so look after what matters. Eat well. Sleep well. Move your body.
When negative emotions arise, take action to meet them. Only action can carry you out of stagnation.
Expect nothing from anyone.
Receive kindness with grace. Cherish those who reach for you when you fall.
Maintain your integrity in the presence of malice. Do not engage – darkness is not worth your attention.
Broken is not a flaw. Cracks are where the light enters.
Pay attention to what reminds you of beauty in life.
Let go of what does not.
The world is vast and generous – as long as you keep your mind open and continue to move your feet.
